A nnas and Caiaphas being chief priests -- there came a word of God unto John the son of Zacharias, in the wilderness,

وَكانَ حَنّانُ وَقِيافا رَئِيْسَيْ كَهَنَةٍ خِلالَ ذَلِكَ الوَقتِ. فَجاءَتْ رِسالَةُ اللهِ إلَى يُوحَنّا بْنِ زَكَرِيّا وَهُوَ فِي البَرِّيَّةِ.
