i n the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, word of God came upon John, the son of Zacharias, in the wilderness.

وَكانَ حَنّانُ وَقِيافا رَئِيْسَيْ كَهَنَةٍ خِلالَ ذَلِكَ الوَقتِ. فَجاءَتْ رِسالَةُ اللهِ إلَى يُوحَنّا بْنِ زَكَرِيّا وَهُوَ فِي البَرِّيَّةِ.
