A nnas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.

وَكانَ حَنّانُ وَقِيافا رَئِيْسَيْ كَهَنَةٍ خِلالَ ذَلِكَ الوَقتِ. فَجاءَتْ رِسالَةُ اللهِ إلَى يُوحَنّا بْنِ زَكَرِيّا وَهُوَ فِي البَرِّيَّةِ.
