B e careful, lest you forget the covenant of Yahweh your God, which he made with you, and make yourselves an engraved image in the form of anything which Yahweh your God has forbidden you.

Aşadar, vegheaţi asupra voastră şi nu uitaţi legământul Domnului, Dumnezeul vostru, pe care l-a încheiat cu voi. Să nu vă faceţi vreun idol sau orice alt fel de chip pe care Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru, v-a interzis să-l faceţi.
