D avid said, “Of these, twenty-four thousand were to oversee the work of Yahweh’s house, six thousand were officers and judges,

وَكانَتْ وَظِيفَةُ أربَعَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ ألفاً مِنْ هَؤُلاءِ الإشْرافَ عَلَى عَمَلِ بَيتِ اللهِ. وَكانَ سِتَّةُ آلافٍ مِنْهُمْ عُرَفاءَ وَقَضاةً.
