a nd they took him, and threw him into the pit. The pit was empty. There was no water in it.

وَأمْسَكُوهُ وَألقَوْا بِهِ فِي البِئْرِ. وَكانَتِ البِئْرُ فارِغَةً بِلا ماءٍ.
