a nd they took him and cast him into the pit; now the pit was empty—there was no water in it.

وَأمْسَكُوهُ وَألقَوْا بِهِ فِي البِئْرِ. وَكانَتِ البِئْرُ فارِغَةً بِلا ماءٍ.
