Ф араон, царь Египта, напал на Гезер и захватил его. Он предал его огню, перебил его ханаанских обитателей и отдал его в приданое своей дочери, жене Соломона.

For Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up and taken Gezer and burned it with fire. He killed the Canaanites who lived in the city, and then gave it as a wedding-gift to his daughter, Solomon’s wife.
