W hen the day came that Elkanah sacrificed, he would give portions to Peninnah his wife and to all her sons and her daughters;

وَكُلَّما قَدَّمَ ألقانَةُ ذَبائِحَهُ، كانَ يُعطِي حِصَّةً واحِدَةً مِنَ الطَّعامِ لِزَوجَتِهِ فَنِنَّةَ وَحِصَّةً أُخْرَى لِكُلِّ واحِدٍ مِنْ أبنائِها.
