A nd when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:

وَكُلَّما قَدَّمَ ألقانَةُ ذَبائِحَهُ، كانَ يُعطِي حِصَّةً واحِدَةً مِنَ الطَّعامِ لِزَوجَتِهِ فَنِنَّةَ وَحِصَّةً أُخْرَى لِكُلِّ واحِدٍ مِنْ أبنائِها.
