A nd when the day would come, Elkanah would sacrifice, and he would give portions to Peninnah his wife and to all her sons and her daughters.

وَكُلَّما قَدَّمَ ألقانَةُ ذَبائِحَهُ، كانَ يُعطِي حِصَّةً واحِدَةً مِنَ الطَّعامِ لِزَوجَتِهِ فَنِنَّةَ وَحِصَّةً أُخْرَى لِكُلِّ واحِدٍ مِنْ أبنائِها.
