A nd Saul cast the spear, and thought, I will smite David and the wall. But David turned away from him twice.

وَكانَ فِي يَدِ شاوُلَ رُمحٌ. فَقالَ شاوُلُ فِي نَفسِهِ: «سَأُسَمِّرُ داوُدَ فِي الحائِطِ بهَذا الرُّمحِ.» فَتَنَحَّى داوُدُ عَنِ الرُّمْحِ مَرَّتَينِ.
