a nd Saul cast the spear; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall. And David avoided out of his presence twice.

وَكانَ فِي يَدِ شاوُلَ رُمحٌ. فَقالَ شاوُلُ فِي نَفسِهِ: «سَأُسَمِّرُ داوُدَ فِي الحائِطِ بهَذا الرُّمحِ.» فَتَنَحَّى داوُدُ عَنِ الرُّمْحِ مَرَّتَينِ.
