1 Samuel 16:7 ~ ﺻﻤﻮﺋﻴﻞ ﺍﻷﻭﻝ 16:7

B ut Jehovah said to Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have rejected him; for it is not as man seeth; for man looketh upon the outward appearance, but Jehovah looketh upon the heart.

لَكِنَّ اللهَ قالَ لِصَمُوئِيلَ: «صَحِيحٌ أنَّ أليآبَ طَوِيلٌ وَوَسِيمٌ، لَكِنْ لا تُدخِلْ هَذِهِ الأُمُورَ فِي اعتبارِكَ. فَاللهُ لا يَنظُرُ إلَى ما يَراهُ النّاسُ. هُوَ لا يَنظُرُ إلَى مَظهَرِ الإنسانِ، وَإنَّما إلَى قَلبِهِ. فَلَيسَ أليآبُ هُوَ الَّذِي اختَرتُهُ.»
