1 Samuel 16:7 ~ ﺻﻤﻮﺋﻴﻞ ﺍﻷﻭﻝ 16:7

B ut Jehovah said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have rejected him: for Jehovah seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but Jehovah looketh on the heart.

لَكِنَّ اللهَ قالَ لِصَمُوئِيلَ: «صَحِيحٌ أنَّ أليآبَ طَوِيلٌ وَوَسِيمٌ، لَكِنْ لا تُدخِلْ هَذِهِ الأُمُورَ فِي اعتبارِكَ. فَاللهُ لا يَنظُرُ إلَى ما يَراهُ النّاسُ. هُوَ لا يَنظُرُ إلَى مَظهَرِ الإنسانِ، وَإنَّما إلَى قَلبِهِ. فَلَيسَ أليآبُ هُوَ الَّذِي اختَرتُهُ.»
