A nd when the Syrians of Damascus came to succor Hadadezer king of Zobah, David smote of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men.

وَجاءَ آرامِيُّو دِمَشْقَ لِمُساعَدَةِ هَدَدَ عَزَرَ ملِكِ صُوبَة. لَكِنَّ داوُدَ هَزَمَ الأرامِيِّينَ وَقَتَلَ مِنُهُمُ اثْنَينِ وَعِشرينَ ألفاً.
