A nd the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadadezer king of Zobah, and David smote of the Syrians twenty-two thousand men.

وَجاءَ آرامِيُّو دِمَشْقَ لِمُساعَدَةِ هَدَدَ عَزَرَ ملِكِ صُوبَة. لَكِنَّ داوُدَ هَزَمَ الأرامِيِّينَ وَقَتَلَ مِنُهُمُ اثْنَينِ وَعِشرينَ ألفاً.
