W hen the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadadezer king of Zobah, David struck twenty two thousand men of the Syrians.

وَجاءَ آرامِيُّو دِمَشْقَ لِمُساعَدَةِ هَدَدَ عَزَرَ ملِكِ صُوبَة. لَكِنَّ داوُدَ هَزَمَ الأرامِيِّينَ وَقَتَلَ مِنُهُمُ اثْنَينِ وَعِشرينَ ألفاً.
