A nd if a man hits the eye of his servant or the eye of his maid so that it is destroyed, he shall let him go free for his eye’s sake.

Dacă un stăpân va lovi ochiul vreunui sclav sau al vreunei sclave şi-l face pe acesta sau pe aceasta să-şi piardă ochiul, sclavul, respectiv sclava, să fie lăsaţi să plece liberi ca despăgubire pentru ochi.
