A nd they brought the head of Ish-bosheth to David at Hebron and said to the king, Behold, the head of Ish-bosheth son of Saul, your enemy, who sought your life; and the Lord has avenged my lord the king this day on Saul and on his offspring.

y trajeron la cabeza de Isboset a David en Hebrón, y dijeron al rey: “Esta es la cabeza de Isboset, hijo de su enemigo Saúl, el que buscaba su vida; de esta manera el Señor hoy ha concedido venganza a mi señor el rey sobre Saúl y sus descendientes.”
