A nd they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul thine enemy, which sought thy life; and the Lord hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed.

y trajeron la cabeza de Isboset a David en Hebrón, y dijeron al rey: “Esta es la cabeza de Isboset, hijo de su enemigo Saúl, el que buscaba su vida; de esta manera el Señor hoy ha concedido venganza a mi señor el rey sobre Saúl y sus descendientes.”
