P or bijtë e Izraelit nuk i vranë, sepse krerët e asamblesë u ishin betuar atyre në emër të Zotit, Perëndisë së Izraelit. Mirëpo tërë asambleja murmuriti kundër krerëve.

But the people of Israel did not kill them because the leaders of the people had made a promise to them by the Lord the God of Israel. All the people complained against the leaders.
