Н о израелтяните не ги поразиха, защото началниците на обществото им се бяха заклели в Господа, Израелевия Бог. А цялото общество роптаеше против началниците.

But the people of Israel did not kill them because the leaders of the people had made a promise to them by the Lord the God of Israel. All the people complained against the leaders.
