M as os filhos de Israel não os mataram, porquanto os príncipes da congregação lhes haviam prestado juramento pelo Senhor, o Deus de Israel; pelo que toda a congregação murmurava contra os príncipes.

But the people of Israel did not kill them because the leaders of the people had made a promise to them by the Lord the God of Israel. All the people complained against the leaders.
