E u, João, irmão vosso e companheiro convosco na aflição, no reino, e na perseverança em Jesus, estava na ilha chamada Patmos por causa da palavra de Deus e do testemunho de Jesus.

I, John, your brother and companion (sharer and participator) with you in the tribulation and kingdom and patient endurance in Jesus Christ, was on the isle called Patmos, on account of the Word of God and the testimony (the proof, the evidence) for Jesus Christ.
