P ois cobriram a face de toda a terra, de modo que a terra se escureceu; e comeram toda a erva da terra e todo o fruto das árvores, que deixara a saraiva; nada verde ficou, nem de árvore nem de erva do campo, por toda a terra do Egito.

For they covered the whole land and made it dark. They ate every plant of the land, and all the fruit of the trees that the hail had left. Nothing green was left on any tree or plant of the field through all the land of Egypt.
