P orque cubrieron la faz de toda la tierra, y la tierra se oscureció; y se comieron toda planta de la tierra y todo el fruto de los árboles que el granizo había dejado. Así que nada verde quedó en árbol o planta del campo por toda la tierra de Egipto.

For they covered the whole land and made it dark. They ate every plant of the land, and all the fruit of the trees that the hail had left. Nothing green was left on any tree or plant of the field through all the land of Egypt.
