A to mbuluan faqen e tërë dheut, aq sa e nxinë dheun; përpinë tërë bimësinë e vendit dhe tërë pemët e drurëve që breshri kishte lënë; dhe nuk mbeti asgjë e blertë mbi drurët dhe shkurrëzat e fushës, në tërë vendin e Egjiptit.

For they covered the whole land and made it dark. They ate every plant of the land, and all the fruit of the trees that the hail had left. Nothing green was left on any tree or plant of the field through all the land of Egypt.
