2 I t is like the precious oil on the head, that ran down on the beard, even Aaron’s beard; that came down on the edge of his robes;

It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

3 l ike the dew of Hermon, that comes down on the hills of Zion: for there Yahweh gives the blessing, even life forever more.

As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
