b ut a witness it between us and you, and between our generations after us, to do the service of Jehovah before Him with our burnt-offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace-offerings, and your sons do not say hereafter to our sons, Ye have no portion in Jehovah.

ma perché serva come testimone fra noi e voi e fra i nostri discendenti dopo di noi. affinché possiamo compiere il servizio dell'Eterno davanti a lui. con i nostri olocausti, con i nostri sacrifici e con le nostre offerte di ringraziamento affinché i vostri discendenti non abbiano un giorno a dire ai nostri discendenti: Voi non avete parte alcuna nell'Eterno".
