T hat place hath called Brook of Eshcol, because of the cluster which the sons of Israel cut from thence.

وَدُعِيَ ذَلِكَ المُكانُ بِوادِي أشكُولَ بِسَبَبِ العُنقُودِ الَّذِي قَطَعَهُ بَنو إسْرائِيلَ مِنْ هُناكَ.
