t hen ceased the service of the house of God that in Jerusalem, and it ceased till the second year of the reign of Darius king of Persia.

وَتَوَقَفَ العَمَلُ فِي بَيتِ اللهِ فِي مَدينَةِ القُدْسِ، وَلَمْ يُستَأنَفِ العُمَلُ إلّا فِي السَّنَةِ الثّانِيَةِ مِنْ حُكمِ دارِيُوسَ، مَلِكِ بِلادِ فارِسَ.
