D avid went from there to Mizpeh of Moab, and he said to the king of Moab, “Please let my father and my mother come out with you, until I know what God will do for me.”

وَتَرَكَ داوُدُ عَدُلّامَ إلَى المِصفاةِ فِي مُوآبَ. وَقالَ لِمَلِكِ مُوآبَ: «أرجُو أنْ تَسمَحَ لِأُمِّي وَأبِي أنْ يَمكُثا عِندَكَ إلَى أنْ أعلَمَ ماذا سَيَفعَلُ اللهُ مَعِي.»
