و َتَرَكَ داوُدُ عَدُلّامَ إلَى المِصفاةِ فِي مُوآبَ. وَقالَ لِمَلِكِ مُوآبَ: «أرجُو أنْ تَسمَحَ لِأُمِّي وَأبِي أنْ يَمكُثا عِندَكَ إلَى أنْ أعلَمَ ماذا سَيَفعَلُ اللهُ مَعِي.»

David went from there to Mizpeh of Moab, and he said to the king of Moab, “Please let my father and my mother come out with you, until I know what God will do for me.”
