D avid went from there to Mizpah of Moab. He said to the king of Moab, “I beg of you, let my father and mother come and stay with you until I know what God will do for me.”

وَتَرَكَ داوُدُ عَدُلّامَ إلَى المِصفاةِ فِي مُوآبَ. وَقالَ لِمَلِكِ مُوآبَ: «أرجُو أنْ تَسمَحَ لِأُمِّي وَأبِي أنْ يَمكُثا عِندَكَ إلَى أنْ أعلَمَ ماذا سَيَفعَلُ اللهُ مَعِي.»
