T he rooster crowed the second time. Peter remembered the word, how that Jesus said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” When he thought about that, he wept.

And the second time a cock crew. And Peter remembered the word that Jesus said to him, Before cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice; and when he thought thereon he wept.
