A t once a rooster crowed the second time. Peter remembered what Jesus had said to him, “Before a rooster crows two times, you will say three times you do not know Me.” When he thought about it, he cried.

And the second time a cock crew. And Peter remembered the word that Jesus said to him, Before cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice; and when he thought thereon he wept.
