T he rooster crowed the second time. Peter remembered the word, how that Jesus said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” When he thought about that, he wept.

Und der Hahn krähte zum andernmal. Da gedachte Petrus an das Wort, das Jesus zu ihm sagte: Ehe der Hahn zweimal kräht, wirst du mich dreimal verleugnen. Und er hob an, zu weinen.
