I shmael also killed all the Jews who were with him, with Gedaliah, at Mizpah, and the Chaldeans who were found there, the men of war.

وَقَتَلَ إسْماعِيلُ جَميعَ اليَهُودِ الَّذِينَ كانُوا مَعَ جَدَلْيا فِي المِصفاةِ، وَكَذَلِكَ الجُنُودَ البابِلِيِّينَ الَّذِينَ وَجَدَهُمْ هُناكَ.
