I shmael also slew all the Jews who were with Gedaliah at Mizpah, and the Chaldean soldiers who were found there.

وَقَتَلَ إسْماعِيلُ جَميعَ اليَهُودِ الَّذِينَ كانُوا مَعَ جَدَلْيا فِي المِصفاةِ، وَكَذَلِكَ الجُنُودَ البابِلِيِّينَ الَّذِينَ وَجَدَهُمْ هُناكَ.
