T hen Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said to them, “Draw out, and take lambs according to your families, and kill the Passover.

وَاستَدعَى مُوسَى كُلَّ شُيُوخِ إسْرائِيلَ وَقالَ لَهُمْ: «اختارُوا حَمَلاً لِعائِلاتِكُمْ وَاذبَحُوهُ كَحَمَلٍ لِلفِصحِ.
