T hen Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb.

وَاستَدعَى مُوسَى كُلَّ شُيُوخِ إسْرائِيلَ وَقالَ لَهُمْ: «اختارُوا حَمَلاً لِعائِلاتِكُمْ وَاذبَحُوهُ كَحَمَلٍ لِلفِصحِ.
