T hen Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said to them, Go forth, select and take a lamb according to your families and kill the Passover.

وَاستَدعَى مُوسَى كُلَّ شُيُوخِ إسْرائِيلَ وَقالَ لَهُمْ: «اختارُوا حَمَلاً لِعائِلاتِكُمْ وَاذبَحُوهُ كَحَمَلٍ لِلفِصحِ.
