A bram lived in the land of Canaan, and Lot lived in the cities of the plain, and moved his tent as far as Sodom.

وَسَكَنَ أبْرامُ فِي أرْضِ كَنْعانَ. وَأمّا لُوطُ فَسَكَنَ فِي مُدُنِ وادِي الأُرْدُنِّ، وَقَرَّبَ خَيمَتَهُ مِنْ مَدِينَةِ سَدُومَ.
