A bram settled in the land of Canaan, while Lot settled in the cities of the valley, and moved his tents as far as Sodom.

وَسَكَنَ أبْرامُ فِي أرْضِ كَنْعانَ. وَأمّا لُوطُ فَسَكَنَ فِي مُدُنِ وادِي الأُرْدُنِّ، وَقَرَّبَ خَيمَتَهُ مِنْ مَدِينَةِ سَدُومَ.
