S a-mu-ên tuyên giảng luật pháp của nước tại trước mặt dân sự, chép trong một cuốn sách mà người để trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va. Đoạn, Sa-mu-ên cho cả dân sự ai về nhà nấy.

Then Samuel recited unto the people the rights of the kingdom and wrote it in a book and laid it up before the LORD. And Samuel sent all the people away, each one to his house.
