S amuel a făcut cunoscută poporului legea monarhiei şi a scris-o într-un sul, pe care l-a aşezat înaintea Domnului. După aceea, Samuel a trimis întregul popor, pe fiecare în parte, la casa lui.

Then Samuel recited unto the people the rights of the kingdom and wrote it in a book and laid it up before the LORD. And Samuel sent all the people away, each one to his house.
