Phục Truyền Luật Lệ 9:4 ~ Deuteronomy 9:4

K hi Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời ngươi đã đuổi chúng nó khỏi trước mặt ngươi, chớ nói trong lòng rằng: Aáy vì cớ sự công bình tôi mà Đức Giê-hô-va khiến tôi vào nhận lấy xứ nầy; thật là bởi sự gian ác của các dân tộc đó, nên Đức Giê-hô-va mới đuổi chúng nó ra khỏi trước mặt ngươi.

Do not say in your heart, after the Lord your God has thrust them out from before you, It is because of my righteousness that the Lord has brought me in to possess this land—whereas it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is dispossessing them before you.
