Deuteronom 9:4 ~ Deuteronomy 9:4

D upă ce îi va izgoni dinaintea voastră, să nu începeţi să ziceţi în inimile voastre: «Datorită dreptăţii noastre ne-a adus Domnul să stăpânim această ţară!» Căci din cauza răutăţii acestor neamuri le va izgoni Domnul dinaintea voastră.

Do not say in your heart, after the Lord your God has thrust them out from before you, It is because of my righteousness that the Lord has brought me in to possess this land—whereas it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is dispossessing them before you.
