Giê-rê-mi-a 38:6 ~ Jeremiah 38:6

H ọ bèn bắt Giê-rê-mi và quăng người xuống hố của Manh-ki-gia, con trai vua, hố ấy ở trong hành lang lính canh; họ dùng dây mà thả Giê-rê-mi xuống. Hố không có nước, chỉ có bùn; Giê-rê-mi bị lút dưới bùn.

So they took Jeremiah and cast him into the dungeon or cistern pit of Malchiah the king’s son, which was in the court of the guard; and they let Jeremiah down with ropes. And in the dungeon or cistern pit there was no water, but only mire, and Jeremiah sank in the mire.
